Include This 'Simple Factor' in Any Website or Sales Letter...

By Mark Pocock

There are common mistakes people make when they write web pages, ads, sales letters and brochures.

A staggering 99% of companies make this fatal error. And it cost a business thousands of pounds in lost income - often the difference between profit and loss.

By using an interesting headline.

It's as simple as that - attract attention to your marketing material.

Your ad needs to be the one piece of information your customer reads today.

People are overloaded with information. So it's important to get your marketing material read immediately, otherwise it will get binned.

This is what your headline does.

But what should you say in your headline? Good question.

You give your customer a powerful benefit to them. This will drag the reader into reading your material.

By having compelling copy written for you. Always have copy that shows your potential client or customer 'what is in it for them'. After all really aren't that interested in you - just what you can do for them.

Just by changing your headline you can increase your responds by 1700%!

Just look at yourself when you read a newspapper or magazine - do you ever read every story? More than likely you only read the stories of the articles that have a grabbing headline.

The headline and opening paragraph are the initial curiosity that pulls the reader in if they feel it's not relevant to them, their interest will quickly wane.

The Secret To A Powerful Headline

Tell the customers what you are trying to sell. Always, always make sure that your healine is compelling to the reader. Tell them 'what is in it for them'. How it can benefit them.

You probably will look at headlines in a different way now.

A question I get asked a lot is how do I write a good headline?

Imaging speaking directly with your prospect - what would you say to them? You have to find out what they want and then use this in the headline.

Give your potential customers a PROMISE in the headline.

"If you are not 100% happy with our service you don't owe us a penny."

Pay attention. If all the businesses have roughly the same sized ad - each costing a similar amount of money. Yet only one shop gives the shopper what they really want 'what's in it for them' which shop is going to do the most business?

If you can learn about using the right marketing you'll get more customers - guaranteed.

Use these steps to write a great headline:

* What are your products advantages?

* How is your product different from your competitor?

* Is your product/service exclusively available?

Start using intriguing headlines in your copy and your business will get more customers.
