Successful Internet Marking is More than just PPC and SEO

By Tranque Fuller

"You don't need to own anything to feel abundant; although if you feel abundant consistently, things will almost certainly come to you. Abundance comes only to those who already have it. It sounds almost unfair -- but of course it isn't, it is a Universal Law. Both abundance and scarcity are inner states that manifest as your reality." -- Eckhart Tolle

You might be asking what the above quote from Eckhart Tolle has to do with developing a successful Internet Marketing business. You might even think that I'm getting a little too woo-woo-mystical; but just hang in there and let me explain. Though some would like you to think otherwise, Marketing on the Internet is more an art form than a hard science. For most people that try their hand at Internet Marketing, it is a process of learning and mastering a host of new skills -- especially in the early days when you discover yourself transforming into a sort of jack-of-all-trades until you finally feel you have the resources (aka money) to out-source. This process is likely to take time and more than a little work on your part -- and you're probably going to experience some frustrating dead-ends. Your Mind-Set -- especially at this stage of the game -- is going to make all the difference in the world.

I feel feel few people actually fail as Internet Marketers . . . they really just quit before they even get in the game. Business opportunities are typically presented in a way that almost guarantees that people that get involved in Internet Marketing business do so with unreal expectations. Don't misunderstand me, it is very possible -- and do-able -- to make excellent money on the Internet -- you may even get wealthy! But you're NOT going to do that by joining some business opportunity and doing no work. Most beginners discover soon enough that reality is quite different than what was marketed. At this point many throw in the towel, convinced that they've "been scammed". But the beginner who's desire for success is greater than their tendency to make excuses, will do whatever it takes to learn the Business of Internet Marketing and take action needed for success.

To become a successful Internet Marketer, you need to nurture a mind-set of abundance; an expectation of success. The nature of this business requires resilience, creativity, tenacity and flexibility -- all traits that are stunted and stalled by a negative, stressed-out attitude. Also, developing relationships and joint ventures with other successful Internet Entrepreneurs is another key aspect to experiencing success Online. This will require that you are -- or become -- the type of person that attracts people to you. No one -- especially successful Internet Business Professionals -- wants to associate with downer personalities. Having an Attitude of Abundance and an Expectation of Success is the Foundation to Experiencing Success as on the Internet (as well as life in general for that matter).
