Hat gift boxes

By Ben

Hat Gift Boxes as we refer to them in the trade are better known as Round Gift Boxes. Women wearing hats needed a way to travel with their numerous hats and that is how they were born. Hat Gift Boxes was made popular during the second world war by Coco Chanel a well know designer.

Today Hat Gift Boxes are not really used for hats anymore but mostly for Gift Packaging or in some case for the gift itself. Hat Gift Boxes are versatile and because they can be made up in just about any size you can add a variety of gifts to them. Being available in any colour they can fit any colour scheme.

Since anything from chocolates as wedding favors to wine bottles can go into Hat Gift Boxes as Gift Packaging it makes them ideal options. Baths salts or clothing that is normally clumsy items to display will look neat inside Hat Gift Boxes. Three Hat Gift Boxes fitting into one another make a charming gift.

Cardboard inlays or foam can be used to cushion fragile items such as eggs or other fragile items when using Hat Gift Boxes. We can cover the inlays with either a contrasting paper or the same paper as the outside of the box. When using bubble wrap you can use Tissue Paper to cover it.

Your clients will reuse your Hat Gift Boxes for stationary or makeup. With special Gift Packaging your client will feel valuable and remember you for a long time afterwards because they will reuse the Hat Gift Boxes. Staying in peoples minds is what branding is all about.

Dressing up of Hat Gift Boxes can be done with Ribbons, Raffia, Cellophane or Tissue Paper. Make a rose posy for the lid with strings of Ribbons, with little trinkets tied to them hanging down the sides. Cellophane can be used to wrap around Hat Gift Boxes for extra excitement.

Ribbons, Raffia, Cellophane or Tissue Paper can all be used with success to dress your Hat Gift Boxes with. Use Ribbons to make Roses and take some strings of Ribbons and tie trinkets to the ends. Let the strings hang down the sides of the Hat Gift Boxes and add the Roses to the lid.

Make flowers with Tissue Paper to create an island look. Creating a fresh garden look can be crated with more than one colour of Raffia twisted together and tied around the Hat Gift Boxes. Add some dried flowers to the lids to round it off. You and your imaginations is all you need.
