PPC Coach Review. Does It Really Work?

By Mike Wong

If you're new to the game, breaking into Pay Per Click marketing (PPC) can be quite a daunting task. There's so much information out there on the web about PPC, but what advice can you trust? If you don't have the right guide, you'll lose a ton of money really fast. That's why you'll want to join a membership site like PPC Coach. For a monthly fee, PPC Coach will teach you everything you want to know about PPC. You'll also get plenty of tools and a forum full of helpful members to help you out.

For $50 a month, you'll gain access to the PPC Coach membership site. When you join, you'll start off learning the month 1 Method and each subsequent month you remain a member will give you access to a new PPC method. Each method is described and includes the affiliate merchant and specific offers to use. However, you should probably choose your own offers to prevent saturation.

Currently there are 1425 members and 52,000 posts in the forums. The forum is quite lively and everyone is very friendly and helpful. PPC-Coach and Coach v2.0 are quite active on the forums as the PPC "mentors". Other members like Harry1970 and SteveL have written great threads that include some great advice. By becoming an active member of the community, I think the forums is where you'll be receiving the most value out of your PPC Coach membership.

It's never problem getting one of your landing pages reviewed by other members, or getting someone to take a look at your ad copy. There's always someone on the forum that's ready to help you out.

Another great learning tool that PPC Coach offers, are the videos. They cover a wide variety of topics and PPC Coach narrates each one. Whats great about the videos is that PPC Coach uses a variety of real life examples to explain the concepts hes teaching. If youre someone that learns better by seeing, youll definitely want to make sure to watch each of them. The videos cover everything from doing keyword research and creating landing pages, to specific tutorials on various tools.

The tools that come with your PPC Coach membership are great as well. Landing Site Generator is a handy php script which makes it painless to set up a landing page. Just modify a few variables in the configuration file and you're up and running. This is an easy way to get started with the Month 1 method.

PPC Coach tracker is an invaluable tool for tracking all your campaigns. You'll need to install this script on your own site. Among other things, it allows you to figure out which keywords are converting for you so you can squeeze the most money out of your campaigns. There are other tools as well, but the last one I wanted to highlight is the Content Network Generator tool. This tool is great as it allows you to spit out keywords and adgroups and import them into Adwords super quickly. It really will save you a ton of time.

One thing I do not particularly like about PPC Coach is the actual site itself. Its actually quite barebones and could be organized much better. Theres a lot of great information on the site, especially in the forums, and I wish the main site itself would make this information easier to find. As an example, the Quick Start Guide is not particularly helpful. I dont understand why it dont include links to some of the great posts on the forum in it.

I also think that prospective members would appreciate a trial period for the service. If you don't happen to like what you see with your PPC Coach membership, there currently is no way to get a refund for that initial $50. Still, I think you'll find the quality of PPC Coach to be good enough that you'll probably stick around for awhile.

The PPC Coach membership is aimed more towards the novice PPC marketer. The month 1 methods aren't really new as I've seen them described before on other sites. Experienced PPC marketers will still get a lot out of the PPC Coach tools, and of course there's the great community.

Being a member of PPC Coach will not guarantee you PPC success. The information you will learn will provide the foundation and the tools will save you time. But its up to you to make the most of your membership. That means youll need to ask questions when you need help, and actually get off your butt and start creating PPC campaigns. If youve been looking to get started with PPC and are trying to figure out how to start, then PPC Coach is definitely a program you should look into. If you take advantage of all that PPC-Coach offers, youll definitely start making some money.
