How Do You Find Solid Business Opportunity Leads

By Myles Krueger

One of the best things you can do in order to find quality leads is research. So many people get excited about a lead company or some nice offer for really cheap leads, but that doesn't mean it is going to be worth your time.

Often calling on leads can feel like going door to door or calling straight out of a phone book. This can be the worse thing in the world because you start to question your ability and get down a lot easier.

It can get so bad to the point where you feel better if they don't pick up the phone then if they do pick up the phone. This shouldn't happen ever.

You have to know who it is you are buying a lead from so see if you can talk with reliable people in the company that can give you solid information about the company. See if you can talk with other clients that have had good experiences and pick their brains to see if it is worth your time.

It would also be good to get in touch with solid third party sources that would have honest objective opinions. The Better Business Bureau or the attorney general are always good places to go to find information on the company you are checking out.

Always know that if a lead doesn't buy from you once, doesn't mean that you can't sell them a year down the road or even sooner. Always keep track of your lists because it might require you just to build some trust in who you are.

Look at other ways you can sell people through emails or additional products that you can give to them for free or a cheaper price. Often it takes time and getting a person to a boiling point where they can be trustworthy enough to buy from you.

So finally, get to know where your leads are coming from and how they are getting to you because you need to make sure you can build a relationship with them. If they are open to doing that then you can help to qualify them over time with emails or products and build a relationship so they will eventually buy from you when the time is right.
