Long Form vs Phone Interviewed leads which is better for you?

By David Lawrence

Long Form Leads do cost less than Phone Interviewed leads, often much less. People regularly ask me if it is worth paying the extra money for the Phone Interviewed lead. Here is my thought process on choosing which mlm lead type to use.

The answer to this question really comes down to ROI ( Return On Investment ). I separate ROI into 2 different categories. 1) Return on the time invested in contacting the leads. 2) Return on the actual dollar amount you spend.

First you must understand how a Phone Interviewed Lead is generated. Typically the call center will need to make approximately 20-30 phone calls to internet generated Long Form Leads to create one Phone Interviewed Lead.

A call center representative has to go through wrong numbers, unisterested people, and other variables before finding someone interested in a Home Based Business. In reality, the call center representative is doing the early sorting and sifting for you.

One variable to consider is that the phone interviewed lead tends to be easier for a new marketer learning the trade. The new marketer will not undergo all the pre qualification leg work already done by the call center operator. In this case, paying more money for a Phone Interviewed Lead might be beneficial if prospecting time is of the essence to you.

However, if your bottom dollar is the determining factor in what kind of lead you want to purchase, a little tracking will need to be done.

If Money is your focus and you know you will be able to convert enough prospects into your opportunity, then you may want to try the Long Form Leads. By converting enough people you may be able to spend less on leads for a higher amount of returns in commissions. Thus, increasing your ROI. Keep in mind that you will have to make more calls to the same amount of contacts then you would with a Phone Interviewed Lead.

But then again, if you have to purchase substantially more long form leads to receive the same results and thus are spending more money, you might have to rethink how much each lead is really costing you.

I feel that the best course of action is a balanced once. Time and Money are both important and finding a blance between the two will allow to have more success. Do your homework on lead providers and look for lead specials as they are out there.
