Paid Survey Scams - The Truth About On Line Paid Surveys

By Ash Ford

Paid survey scams and what's reallt the truth about on line paid surveys will shock and surprise you atthe same time

How paid surveys scams work is that your are asked to pay a fee anywhere from $35 to $50 dollars to get access to a listing of organizations that offer paid surveys. A very heavily promoted scam, "paid surveys" have very bold claims of income potential

The surveying companies don't actually charge anyone for taking their surveys, but instead, they pay participants who complete the surveys subject to stated requirements like age, demographic information, your gender etc.

A lot of the paid survey offers do not deliver on the rewards promised. There are a number of ways that paid surveys continue to mislead and inconvenience people who take part. Many of them pull together personal information about you the participant and sell that information to marketing firms.

Survey databases can cost participants money. Many databases let people have access to lists of paid survey opportunities for a subscription fee. Once people have paid the fee, they discover that many of the surveys listed do not pay, and that nearly all of the listings are available elsewhere for free.

Many of these offers seem legal because they feature fake testimonials from allegedly 'satisfied' users.

A few lucky people will be fortunate to make some ongoing money, but it will never really be much at all, possibly a few hundred dollars a month at best!
