You name it, I've done cold calling, classified ads, I've even put down a few sizzle cards in my path. Being a creative person is definitely a blessing, but I tend to be more logical more often than not. As I was learning from my sponsor and upline, I would experiment with and analyze what I was being taught. Over time, I made my conclusions about my business, and the way to build upon it. The old ways of networking, and building a downline, I'm sure still work for some. What I'm doing works a hundred times better, this system I believe is the best. You might look at it, mumble and curse under your breath, but I think it's amazing.
Distributors and leaders that know the industry already, are the best market to target for prospects. I never do any cold calling, they contact me. This is what's happening in my business, 15 to 20 prospects each day.
I'm not going to chase people down to join my opportunity, or buy my products. No more sitting on the phone spewing my business opportunity to anyone. Effective copy writing to sell to huge numbers through an opt in system using email, and the web is a thousand times more effective.
I wasn't going to focus on simply building a networking opportunity, which may or may not be here in 5 years. My focus was on building ?You Inc?, which is my list, and the reputation I have with my list.
I wanted my list to become a virtual distribution channel. This would bring stability, and allow me to build another downline with the click of a mouse, should something ever happen to my primary opportunity.
