In an earlier article, I explained how you can use audio to collect and share testimonials. Audio is also a great tool to increase conversions. If you're looking to boost sales, audio could be the secret weapon you've been looking for.
Spend an hour adding audio to three key parts of your website and watch conversions soar.
I believe the best tool on the market for putting audio on your website is Audio Generator. Here's the site: http://newaudiomarketing.com. It is extremely easy to use. In fact, I find that most people end up putting more audio on their site once they have an Audio Generator account just because it is so easy to use.
Try adding audio to the following areas for better conversions:
Squeeze Page. You can just reiterate the copy on your squeeze page. It might sound something like this: "Hi, this is Ray Edwards and welcome to my site. I'd love to tell you more about my copywriting services and how I can boost your conversions, reduce the amount of refunds you get, and help you build your business empire. To find out how I can do all that and more, just put in your name and e-mail address below and click the submit button." Granted that is a crude example I just made up, but it gives you an idea of how it should sound. Make it autoplay on your squeeze page. I know some people think autoplay is annoying, but is this about annoying a few people, or selling a whole lot more of your stuff to a whole bunch of people? I've tested this on my clients' sites - like Alex Mandossian, Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen and Jeff Walker - and in almost every case, autoplay gets higher opt-in rates.
Your sales page. Add audio to the "Guarantee" section of your sales page. People feel more comfortable if they can hear you talking about your guarantee in your own voice, and this will give you a huge boost in conversions.
Order Page. Once again, I recommend using autoplay audio. When people click that Buy button and they reach the shopping cart or order page, they hear something like this: "Congratulations on making a great decision to buy. Remember, you're getting the following three benefits when you act now. Here's what you need to do. Just put in your name and your billing information. Double-check your credit card information to make sure it's correct before you click that submit button." Using an audio similar to this will increase the number of completed orders on your order page.
